FAQs

If you have any questions with regards to an order, please either contact us via telephone or by email at hello@ethicalskincare.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help.  We aim to reply to any messages the same day.

Discount Code:

Only one code is permitted per order and must be entered correctly (case sensitive) in the discount code box provided at checkout. When entered correctly the Discount Code will generate the reduction in your basket.

We regret we cannot process codes retrospectively after the order has been placed due to the cost of bank processing, fees on refunds.

Gift with Purchase:

These are automatically added to your cart when your order qualifies for the offer. No other offer or discount is valid when a GWP is added. These are not provided if the terms of the offer are not met. Gift with purchase items are not eligible for exchange or monetary refund.

Returned or Cancelled Order with Offers:

When returning items that include a discount the refund due will include the discount. If a free gift was included this must be returned with your item or the value of the gift will be deduced from the refund.

If a refund is issued an admin fee may apply due to the cost or processing refunds with the banks.

Offers run for a limited time and can’t be used in-conjunction with any other offers.

We understand it can be overwhelming choosing the right product online….

Why not use our knowledge as therapists to help guide and advise you through our personally selected range of products. Ensuring you choose the appropriate products for your skin, body and lifestyle concerns.

Avoid purchasing any products that may not be suitable and take our advice.

Please ensure your address is completed correctly and a valid phone number is available at order. We do not take responsibility for a lost or undelivered item if the address is incorrect. A new delivery will not be despatched until the original order is delivered back to us.

If your order is returned to us the cost of redelivery must be paid before it is despatched again.

Please note purchasing currency is GBP

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering information.

Unfortunately, from time to time stock may not be available. You will be contacted if the item you order is temporarily out of stock.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays, although this may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances.

Orders generally dispatched within:

2-3 working days within the UK

3-5 Working days to Europe

5-7 Working days to the Rest Of the World

Please note you may receive more than one delivery per order as some items may be dispatched separately.

We regret that dispatch errors such as missing, faulty or damaged items, may occur from time to time. These must be reported within 5 days. Please contact us for further assistance at hello@ethicalskincare.co.uk

 

The delivery service we use considers a parcel lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 working days for UK orders.

Often parcels don’t take this amount of time, however please note we are unable to dispatch a replacement or issue a refund until this period of time has elapsed. Should you have any queries relating to your deliver or order please contact us via email at hello@ethicalskincare.co.uk.

We are happy to offer a replacement on goods damaged in transit or sent in error. Please contact hello@ethicalskincare.co.uk. An exchange or credit note is available for unopened, unused goods that are no longer required.

Please be aware that due to EU hygiene regulations we cannot offer a refund, replacement or exchange on items returned in non-saleable condition. Goods must be returned to us in a saleable condition within 14 days.

All returns are at the expense of the purchaser. However, if goods are damaged in transit or you receive a product in error, we will refund shipping costs. We suggest using a recorded service to ensure safe return of the items. Please retain a proof of postage.

Under the ‘Sales of Goods Law’ we are not obliged to accept returns simply if you have changed your mind or no longer want the goods.

We are legally obliged to ensure your money is refunded within 30 working days of receipt of the return, however we will refund your product as quickly as possible by sending the money back to your original payment method and notify you on completion via email. Should your card have expired in the mean-time please email us at  hello@ethicalskincare.co.uk

Please contact us if you have ordered an item in error and we will endeavour to swap the unopened, unused item for the one you require. This is at our discretion.

Along with used items, several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Gift cards and perishable goods such as food cannot be returned. We also do not accept intimate products for return.

Returns are not received by the manufacturer, please contact us directly.

UK Mainland

Free of charge delivery for orders of £25 or more.

Standard delivery arriving in 2-3 working days from dispatch

All orders under £20 will be charged – £3.95

Next day £9.95 (order must be placed before 10am)

 

International Deliveries

Europe:

Free of charge for orders of £100 or more.

Standard delivery arriving in 3-5 working days from dispatch

All orders under £75 will be charged – £9.95

 

Rest of the world:

Free of charge for orders of £100 or more.

Standard delivery arriving in 5-7 working days from dispatch

All orders under £75 will be charged £12.95

 

All deliveries will require a signature.

 

Customs and Taxes:

Please be aware that deliveries outside the UK maybe subject to customs, regulatory or legal restrictions. To comply with local legislation, you may be required to pay additional taxes, fees or levies, import duty or formal customs entry may apply to all products purchased from Ethical Apothecary. We are unable to offer any assistance or advise if any issue arises. The final price that Ethical Apothecary will charge you for your purchase is confirmed at checkout.

 

Prohibited goods:

To comply with national and international regulations governing the carriage of mail, and to ensure that mail in transport does not present a danger to the general public we are prohibited to sending perfumes outside of the UK as these are considered dangerous goods under transport legislation.

We regret we do not deliver to P.O Boxes or hotels.
